Prysmian mining cables are mainly produced at the Neustadt plant. The products are divided into two series: PROTOLON and PROTOMONT for open-pit and underground mining applications. Mining cables meet or exceed the requirements of the Institute of Insulated Cable Engineers (ICEA) Standard S-75-38/NEMAWC-58, Standards ASTM B-172 and ASTM B-33.
