Burke's heat treatment process is committed to continuous innovation to ensure excellent product quality and excellent wear resistance in all operating conditions. In addition, Burke continues to launch in-depth research on the most suitable materials for a wider range of chassis component applications.
For all models, Burke has carried out heat treatment process optimization. The following are the heat treatment methods currently in use:
—Induction hardening: applied to more than 46 product lines.
- Partial quenching: four production lines, direct quenching on-line after forging: applied to 9 production lines.
- Tempering furnaces: two for connected products and segmented products, three for bottom products and two for standard universal products.
—Heat treatment production line with double-box carburizing structure (7 in total).
The main process parameters (temperature gradient, time, temperature, chemical composition, etc.) are all monitored in real time by a computer system and connected to the company network to ensure high-quality heat treatment standards. Through continuous optimization of these processes over the years, Burke has gained industry excellence and combined it with other process steps to obtain advantageous products.
